Real Madrid president admits Mijatovic didn't agree on Schuster

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has hinted at disagreement with sports director Pedja Mijatovic over the imminent appointment of new coach Bernd Schuster.

Calderon is expected to confirm Schuster's arrival today, but revealed last night: "Mijatovic always spoke to me about Koeman, Wenger and Laudrup? Schuster was not his absolute preference, but soon he came round to considering that he can be the best option."

The Real president also insisted that Fabio Capello never had his heart in continuing as coach.

"When we met, although he said yes," said Calderon, "I knew clearly that he did not want to continue."
