Real Madrid president admits defeat in Kaka pursuit

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has admitted defeat in his pursuit of AC Milan star Kaka.

"Kaka? I think a move is very unlikely," Calderon admitted when talking to Euronews.

"At this time there is no chance of seeing him here. Milan have said that they do not intend to sell him, therefore we cannot buy him."

"In any case, if Kaka ever lets us know that he wants to leave, we will be happy to make an offer. However, the Rossoneri don't want to let him go and this makes things more difficult."

On the dismissal of Fabio Capello, Calderon added: "We won the championship and we will always be grateful to Capello for his excellent job. However, we always want to do better and we needed a change, that is why we took this decision."
