Real Madrid prepare push for Arsenal's Cesc

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is eyeing Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas.
 
The Gunners youngster joined the Londoners from Barcelona and is developing into one of the Premiership's brightest talents.

Perez and sports chief Benito Floro have identified Cesc as the sort of young midfielder the Real squad is lacking and while the Spaniard is settled at Arsenal, the Madrid club are expected to make serious enquiries leading up to the summer transfer window.

Before being paired with Arsenal in next month's Champions League playoff, Real made contact with Cesc's Dad to sound him out about a return to Spain. Marca says Real were informed that Cesc was happy at Arsenal and also grateful to manager Arsene Wenger for the way he has brought him through in the last 18 months.
