Real Madrid Ponder Move For Villarreal's Santi Cazorla
The Real Madrid boss is allegedly keen on a reunion with the gifted midfielder
Real Madrid are considering making a formal approach for Villarreal midfielder Santi Cazorla, according to Marca.
The Spain international was an influential member of the Villarreal squad under Manuel Pellegrini and the Chilean tactician is said to be interested in bringing him to the Santiago Bernabeu.
A deal for Cazorla had already been considered by Real last season, but it failed to materialise as Villarreal president, Fernando Roig, refused to negotiate with his then counterpart, Ramon Calderon.
The good relations between the two clubs and the fact that Pellegrini is now at Real could give a considerable boost to the whole deal.
Yesterday, Real Madrid general director, Jorge Valdano, revealed that with two more additions to their midfield the squad would be complete.
