Real Madrid playmaker Ozil wants to be world best

Real Madrid midfielder Mesut Ozil says winning the Ballon d'Or is an ambition.

Ozil isn't bashful in declaring his plans.

"My objective is to improve and I hope that one day I can win the Ballon d'Or," he said.

"I will give my best for this, but as humans, we make mistakes, and we cannot always play at the highest levels."
