Real Madrid players united in "painful situation"

Real Madrid's players displayed a united front after Sunday's defeat against Espanyol.

Midfielder Pablo Garcia said: "It's important to stay calm. We know there'll be critics, but we have faith in the coach and the players are well."

"But at the same time, we need to work on our tactics."

Defender Ivan Helguera said: "Three defeats in a row is worrying. But we have experienced worse situations and I know with one victory everything will change."

Raul also said: "It's a very painful situation. But it is important to go forward and look for a solution to overcome this."
