A player reportedly on their radar this summer is Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois and Spanish outlet Don Balon report that the Belgian is Real’s number one goalkeeper target with David De Gea unlikely to leave Manchester United.
While Courtois will command a huge transfer fee even if Chelsea get to a point where they’re willing to let him leave, Real are prepared to sweeten the deal for the Blues by offering them Costa Rica international Keylor Navas as part of the deal.
Navas became Madrid’s No.1 goalkeeper when Iker Casillas left the club for Porto and has impressed at the Bernabeu as Madrid secured a La Liga and Champions League double last season.
Christophe Henrotay, Courtois’ agent, is in regular talks with Real regarding his client as it appears as if the Spanish giants have made the Belgian one of their top transfer targets.
