Real Madrid No2 Karanka explains Sahin, Granero departures

Real Madrid No2 Aitor Karanka has commented on the departures of Nuri Sahin and Esteban Granero.

Granero was sold to QPR, while Sahin joined Liverpool on-loan last week.

"Nuri leaving us for a season was almost always on the cards and with respect to Granero, he thought it was time to move on. I would like to take this opportunity to thank him both personally and on behalf of the technical staff for his professionalism," said Karanka.
