Real Madrid No1 Casillas shrugs off Schuster snub

Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has shrugged off a snub by coach Bernd Schuster.

Schuster backs Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo for this year's Ballon d'Or ahead of Casillas, but the Spain international insists: "He will have his reasons. I'm not disappointed by this."

"Man, it's an award that every player wants to win, I'm no different. But I'm also not obsessed by it. The best thing is that this year there are many Spaniards on the list."

"I think one of us should win it after we won the European Championship."
