Real Madrid: No offers for Newcastle, Everton target McManaman

Real Madrid sports chief Jorge Valdano says no concrete offers have been received for midfielder Steve McManaman.

Everton, Manchester City and Newcastle United have all been linked with the 31 year-old, who is expected to move from Real before the August 31 deadline.

However, Valdano revealed yesterday: "At this moment there is no formal offer for McManaman. There are many rumours, but we have nothing on the table."
