Real Madrid Move Would Be A Dream

Real Madrid's quest to sign a new right winger has seen them heavily linked with Wigan Athletic's Antonio Valencia and he would jump at the move if it became a reality.

Antonio Valencia's agent has stated that a move to Real Madrid would be a dream for the Ecuadorian wideman, but admitted that there had been nothing official from anyone at the Spanish club.

Diego Herrera told AS that if Los Merengues made their reported interest concrete then the player would jump at the chance of a move to the Bernabéu.

But in a bid to not cause problems with Wigan Athletic, the agent explained that nothing official had been done or said so neither he nor his client were going to add anything more.

"It would be a dream for Antonio to join Madrid, an incredible opportunity," Herrera said. "But until there is something official I do not want to say anything."

"Nobody has said anything to me. When there is an official statement from someone in authority at Madrid, called Mijatovic or Bucero, informing that there is an offer, then we will speak."

"I understand that Madrid want to complete the signing in teh first week of January. We wlll see what happens over the next few days."

"Next week we will know for certain if Antonio is to become a Real Madrid player."
