Real Madrid move in as Depor reject Liverpool offer for Luque

Real Madrid have been linked with Deportivo La Coruna striker Albert Luque.
 
Depor president Augusto Cesar Lendoiro is willing to listen to offers starting at £10 million for Luque after Sevilla expressed interest last week.

Real are considering Luque as a replacement for Santiago Solari, who moved to Inter Milan earlier this month.

Depor directors are hopeful that Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez will revive his interest in Luque before the summer transfer window closes.

While Luque's father and agent, Rafael, has revealed contact with Liverpool, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona, Depor chiefs know it is only the Premiership giants that has the ready cash to meet Lendoiro's asking price.

Indeed, its been revealed that Depor rejected an offer of £7 million plus Josemi from Liverpool this week.
