Real Madrid move for Fiorentina fullback Pasqual

Fiorentina left-back Manuel Pasqual is in the sights of Real Madrid.

The young Italian has emerged as an alternative should Real be frustrated in their pursuit of Lyon left-back Eric Abidal.

Pasqual's agent, Gastone Rizzatto, confirmed Real's interest to AS: "I know of the Madridista interest. He is a player who already impressed Fabio Capello when he coached Juve and Manuel also is delighted Madrid are following him."

"Now the clubs need to both find an agreement."
