Real Madrid may resist Man Utd, Middlesbrough offers for Geremi

Real Madrid sports chief Jorge Valdano expects to hold onto Geremi next season.

The Cameroon international is wanted by both Manchester United and Middlesbrough, but Valdano said, "We're following Geremi's time at Middlesbrough very carefully and the truth is he is doing very well."

"We've always had faith in him and that's why we loaned him to a side where he would be guaranteed playing time. There is no doubt he is making the most of it."

But Valdano added: "There is no offer on the table at the moment - not from Middlesbrough or Manchester United."
