Real Madrid matchwinner Ramos: I hope Barcelona lose

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos is delighted David Beckham has returned after scoring in last night's 2-1 victory over Valencia.
Beckham's free-kick was powered home by Ramos for Real's winner and the Spain international said: "I am very pleased and very happy. For long time I haven't had the service to take advantage of my ability in the air.

"To win today was very important, not only with my goal but by the work of all the team.

"Beckham made it easy for me and I congratulated him in the dressing room. With players like him, it is very easy to do things well."

Ramos added: "Now I hope Barcelona lose to Villarreal. We need to close the gap on the leaders."
