Real Madrid manager Ancelotti told to sign 22-year-old French midfield enforcer

Real Madrid are going through a difficult period right now, with the club being dealt with a series of fresh injuries.

Among the injured players is Eduardo Camavinga, who picked up a knee injury during a training session with France. He has returned to Madrid for his recovery.

Even Jude Bellingham has been suffering from a knock and was not fully fit heading into the international break.

This has led to pressure within the Real Madrid camp to sign a new player, especially as Aurelien Tchouameni is also out injured.

Amid these speculations, Oscar Damiani, the former Juventus footballer and the ex-agent of Lilian Thuram, has revealed that he has recommended the signing of Khephren Thuram to join Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti.

"Khephren Thuram would fit in best at Real Madrid. I’ve already recommended him to Carlo Ancelotti," Damiani said in an interview with GianlucaDiMarzio.com.

It must be noted that Khephren is the son of legendary former French defender Lilian. He is also the brother of Inter Milan frontman Marcus Thuram.

Khephren has been making a name for himself in midfield ever since his days at Monaco and is now thriving at OGC Nice, whom he joined in 2019.

The 22-year-old has well over 100 appearances in Ligue 1 and has been linked with Real Madrid in the past.

However, as things stand, Real Madrid are unlikely to sign any new players in the upcoming January transfer window.

It is against Florentino Perez’s policy to reinforce the squad in the middle of the season, and there won’t be any signing in January.

Real Madrid’s strategy will be to utilise the new talents coming up from the youth academy, with Nico Paz and Mario Martin likely to be the beneficiaries.
