Real Madrid management hold players' meeting

The leaders at Real Madrid held a meeting on Wednesday after morning training.
 
Present were new head coach Lopez Caro, general manager Arrigo Sacchi, Ramon Martinez and Emilio Butragueno. The players were represented by Guti, Roberto Carlos and Raul.

The meeting was used as a clear-the-air exercise, with the players making their concerns known to the technical staff following the sacking this week of Vanderlei Luxemburgo.

Caro sought the players' loyalty and Sacchi also confirmed his departure on December 21, which he had yet to communicate to the playing group.

Observers of Caro's work say it will be worth watching how Real's galacticos handling his coaching methods. Caro is known for demanding high intensity in training and won't play favours with anyone.
