Real Madrid make new bid for Lyon's Benzema

Real Madrid are locked in negotiations with Olympique Lyon for star striker Karim Benzema.

Several French newspapers reported yesterday that a Real director was in Lyon to open talks over a fee for the France international, who has only just penned a new five-year contract.
