Real Madrid make Man City, Arsenal contact as Benzema up for sale

Real Madrid want to sell Karim Benzema in January.

El Mundo Deportivo says after Real coach Jose Mourinho left the Frenchman on the bench for victory over Valencia, Benzema's name is now being circulated around Europe.

Manchester City have been contacted, along with Arsenal and Benzema's former club Lyon.

Real will sell for €35 million, but that is regarded as far too steep for a player in Benzema's current form.
