Real Madrid make Keane contact

Real Madrid have been linked with released Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane.
 
The Spanish giants are one of the 40-plus clubs chasing Keane after his Manchester United exit.

Real are on the rocks after arch-rivals Barcelona inflicted a fifth La Liga defeat of the campaign on underfire boss Vanderlei Luxemburgo.

And, if an immediate turnaround in results is not forthcoming, Real chiefs are considering offering midfielder Keane a short-term deal until the end of the season to shake up the squad.

Keane, 34, has been inundated with offers from clubs all over Europe, including Juventus and Fiorentina.
