Real Madrid loanee Jesús Vallejo shining in Eintracht Frankfurt

The defender is improving from his disappointing 2015/16 season with Zaragoza.

Vallejo was one of Europe's most promising defenders when Real Madrid decided to sign him almost two years ago. Los Blancos decided to let him stay in Zaragoza for another year but his performances during the 2015/16 season were somewhat disappointing, even though it's true that he suffered a problematic hamstring injury that kept him away from the team for about four months.

Then, Vallejo and Real Madrid accepted a loan move to Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt, a surprising decision considering that Vallejo could probably use some more experience in La Liga Santander. However, Vallejo is now an undisputed starter for Eintracht after being on the bench for the first couple of games.

His composure and his ability to distribute the ball from the back are seen as two very precious skills that could translate very well to Real Madrid. Scouts from Real are paying close attention to Vallejo's development and the Spanish defender could probably be a member of Madrid's first team next season.
