Real Madrid, Liverpool watch as Valencia again drop Ayala

Roberto Ayala will again sit out Valencia's Liga match against Malaga today.

With Spanish press speculation and also teammates suggesting Ayala's morale is at its lowest after failing to win a move to Real Madrid on deadline day last week, the Argie will again be overlooked for first team action.

Manchester United and Liverpool are also interested in Ayala, who played in both of Argentina's World Cup qualifiers last week.

The defender is yet to appear for Valencia this season and his situation is concerning teammates, who have admitted Ayala no longer "feels valued" by club management.
