Real Madrid legend Hierro won't press Sam for Bolton start

Real Madrid legend Fernando Hierro says he won't pressure manager Sam Allardyce to give him his full Bolton Wanderers debut in the Premiership.

"I will not be knocking at the manager's door and reminding him of my achievements," he told the Independent. "My past is of no use to Bolton."

Hierro added: "One of the reasons I came to England was a desire to experience life under a strong manager who runs the club from top to bottom."

"Here, I don't know how Sam manages to run everything. If there's no tea in the dressing-room, it'll be Sam who gets it sorted."
