Real Madrid legend Di Stefano hails Arsenal's Vieira

Real Madrid legend Alfredo Di Stefano has admitted his admiration for Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira.

"We lack people in the centre of the pitch," Di Stefano told Marca. "And we need more than one midfielder, we need two.

"Vieira? He plays well and has great tackling ability, but we would have to consider carefully if he can adapt to the Real Madrid team."
