Real Madrid kid Soldado aims for big break

Real Madrid 'B' striker Roberto Soldado was promoted to the senior setup for yesterday's Bernabeu Trophy clash with Mexico's Pumas.

Soldado struck a stunning four goals for Madrid 'B' against Alcorcan over the weekend and was immediately called up for last night's glamour friendly.

Just 19, Soldado is aiming to eventually break into Real's senior squad on a regular basis and is rated highly by president Florentino Perez.

"I will fight every game and do my best so that Camacho calls on me," declared Soldado yesterday.

Meanwhile, Real and Spanish legend Michel has been appointed new general manager for the club's youth setup.
