Real Madrid keeper Dudek welcomes Mourinho appointment

Real Madrid goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek has welcomed the appointment of new coach Jose Mourinho.

Dudek knows all about former Chelsea boss Mourinho from his days at Liverpool.

"[Mourinho's appointment] is good for Real Madrid, we need him. Pellegrini's departure is sad because he made great things in the short time he had," Dudek told Marca.

"But one has to adapt to what is coming, and if it is Mou, the better for everyone. For the team because his experience will be good, especially for the way he plays the important matches."

"The truth is that, in recent years, he has been one of the best coaches, if not the best, and that is a guarantee."
