Real Madrid keeper Casillas: I never considered leaving

Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas insists he never considered any rival offers after re-signing with the club through to 2011 on Wednesday night.

"For months I have been saying that I wanted to stay here, that was my idea," said Casillas. "I have never thought about another club, and I want to thank them for the treatment they've has given to me, and hope to repay their support and confidence with titles, success, hard work and still more improvement."

"I will be here until 2011, when I am 30 years old. When I finish that contract, I will want to renew until 2016 or 2017."

"I only hope that in 2011 Emilio (Butragueno) is also at my side to renew until 2020."

"I have not listened to other offers, I have grown in Madrid and I want to die, sport-wise, here."
