Real Madrid keeper Caesar rules out Liverpool

Real Madrid goalkeeper Caesar has ruled out a move to Liverpool this month.

Caesar, 33, is out of contract with the Spanish giants in June and wants an 18-month deal with the Premiership side.

But Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez is after immediate cover for the injured Chris Kirkland.

Caesar said: "I have spoken with Benitez on a number of occasions and he wants me to join him at Liverpool."

"But we have put the subject on hold until June unless something new or unexpected happens."
