Real Madrid keen to secure Schuster to new deal

Real Madrid are seeking to rip up Bernd Schuster's current deal and offer him an improved agreement - which would include a buyout clause.

Aware of contact between Schuster and the England FA, Marca says Real president Ramon Calderon and sports director Pedja Mijatovic raised the possibility of a pay-hike with the German after Saturday's 1-1 draw at Murcia.

Schuster is calm about the situation, but Calderon doesn't want to take any risks, knowing full well his coach can walk out at anytime without any compensation being due Real.
