Real Madrid keen on Espanyol's Soriano

Real Madrid are interested in Espanyol's frozen out midfielder Jonathan Soriano.

Soriano isn't part of Espanyol coach Ernesto Valverde's plans this season and has a host of Segunda Liga clubs chasing his signature, including Alaves and Poli Ejido.

Real Madrid B coach Michel is also keen and will move for Soriano if the club fails to find him an experienced foreign midfielder in the early days of the winter market.
