Real Madrid intensify Canales pursuit

Real Madrid are intensifying their pursuit of Racing Santander midfielder Sergio Canales.

Marca says Real are aware of rival interest from Manchester United and Chelsea in the 18 year-old and hope to tie up a deal this month.

Real would sign Canales and then immediately loan him out for the remainder of the season, preferably back to Racing.
