Real Madrid include Baptista in Daniel Alves bid

Real Madrid striker Julio Baptista could be on his way back to Sevilla this summer.

Real sports chief Pedja Mijatovic is planning to use Baptista to drive down the asking price of Sevilla wing-back Daniel Alves.

Mijatovic has already spoken with Baptista's agent Herminio Menendez about the Brazilian's situation after Arsenal decided against taking up the option to sign him permanently following his loan this season.

Should Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido reject the proposal, Real intend to offer other players, including Emerson, Alvaro Meija and Raul Bravo, to convince him to part with Daniel Alves this summer.
