Real Madrid in talks over Inter Milan return for Roberto Carlos

Real Madrid wing-back Roberto Carlos is being linked with a return to Inter Milan.

Controcampo says Real general manager Arrigo Sacchi has held talks with Inter supremo Massimo Moratti about selling the Brazil international back to Inter for next season.

Inter coach Roberto Mancini would love to have Roberto Carlos available to him after being frustrated in his pursuit of Lazio's Cesar over January. Mancini and Moratti are both keen to strengthen the left-side of midfield and the capture of Roberto Carlos would be a huge coup.

Brazil international Roberto Carlos has had inconsistent last six months at Real with local press reports suggesting some directors remain unhappy over the decision to secure the 32 year-old to a new contract last year.
