Real Madrid in for Payet

West Ham face a battle to keep hold of star man Dimitri Payet if reports that Real Madrid are keen on him are to be believed.

Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane is expected to move for the France international if, as expected, James Rodriguez moves on.

The Colombia international has had a frustrating season in the Spanish capital and is expected to depart this summer, with Payet seen as the perfect replacement.
The Hammers are in no rush to sell their star man and only got him tied down to a new, improved five-and-a-half-year contract back in February so they have no need to sell their current player of the year.

If Real Madrid do come calling it could be very difficult for the player not to have his head turned, but the Hammers will not be selling unless a massive offer were to come in.
