Real Madrid in contact with AS Roma's Totti

Real Madrid intermediaries have made contact with AS Roma attacker Francesco Totti.

The Italian ace is Real president Florentino Perez's prime galactico target for next summer.

Totti's lawyer has already been in contact with Real and informed him that Perez is happy to discuss terms with Totti over the course of the season.

The Roma captain's current deal has less than two years to run and if he isn't secured to a new deal then next summer's transfer window will represent the last time the Italian club can cash in on him.
