Real Madrid have identified their priority targets for the next two summer windows

A recent report from Diario AS has offered an update on Real Madrid’s transfer policy. Although the club have been doing extremely well in Europe and in domestic competitions, they remain keen on building a squad for the future.

As part of their plans, the club have identified two long-term targets in the form of Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham. They are considered as excellent options for the club for the immediate present and the future and are seen as priority targets for the next two summer Windows.

In the case of Haaland, Real Madrid have a straightforward plan to intervene in 2024, when a release clause worth €200 million will be activated.

Although a figure of €200 million is a fortune, Real Madrid believe the striker can be worth the bill due to his limitless potential. Haaland has already found immense success in the Premier League so far, racking up 17 goals in 11 matches.

The case of Bellingham is a bit more complicated. The youngster does not have a release clause in his contract with Borussia Dortmund, who are determined to keep hold of him.

Even if the Germans are forced to sell him off in the summer of 2023, they are expected to hold out for a fee of €150 million. Real Madrid, though, are not willing to pay more than €100 million for the Englishman.

However, it is believed that the Whites could push for his signing at the end of the season, knowing the player himself could consider an exit from Dortmund.

There is interest from the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea in the 19-year-old midfielder, but recent reports indicate that Bellingham desires to move to the Santiago Bernabeu, which will be a major boost for Real Madrid.

As such, the European champions are plotting to sign two of their top targets in two different summer transfer Windows.
