Real Madrid goes for £15M Fiorentina ace Mutu

Real Madrid are willing to double Adrian Mutu's Fiorentina wages to bring him to Spain in January.

La Nazione says Real are offering Fiorentina £15 million to sell their Romanian ace when the market reopens.

Should Fiorentina agree to sell, Mutu, who is contracted until 2011, will see his wages double from £1.75 million-a-year to £3.5 million-a-year.
