Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Roma's midfield stars Daniele De Rossi and Amantino Mancini.

Marca says Real are monitoring Mancini's drawn-out contract talks at Roma and are ready to pounce should negotiations fall through.

Roma secured De Rossi to a new deal earlier this year, but that won't stop Real from making a firm bid for a player seen as a future Italy captain.
