Real Madrid GM Valdano denies Cesc bid: We have good relations with Arsenal

Real Madrid GM Jorge Valdano denies they're pursuing a deal for Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas.

Valdano was asked about reports of a €60 million move for Cesc after victory at Espanyol.

"That is something we are not trying to do," he said. "We have set that aside."

"We have not made any offers or entered into talks. Relations with Arsenal are good and we do not want misunderstandings. The players deserve respect."

"We must postpone this debate."
