Real Madrid GM Sacchi scouts Bologna's Meghni

Real Madrid general manager Arrigo Sacchi returned to Italy on Sunday to take in AS Roma's clash with Bologna.

Sacchi took the opportunity to check on the form of several players who are being considered by Real for the summer market.

AS Roma pair Antonio Cassano and Francesco Totti have both drawn public admiration from Real president Florentino Perez this season. However, Sacchi was also running the rule over Bologna youngster Mourad Meghni.

Perez is a huge fan of the French midfielder and discussed the youngster's signing with Sacchi during last month's winter market.

AS Roma's midfield pair Daniele De Rossi and Olivier Dacourt are also interesting Real Madrid.
