Real Madrid GM Sacchi has 4 AZ stars on shopping list

Real Madrid general manager Arrigo Sacchi has no less than four AZ Alkmaar stars under consideration for next season.

Sacchi has a library of video tapes of AZ, which has been a revelation this season both domestically and in Europe.

The Real chief has run his eye over several live games of the Dutch club in action and is convinced a number of their players can fit into the Madrid club's structure.

Fullback Jan Kromkamp and young Belgian striker Stein Huysegems both top Sacchi's shopping list, along with midfield pair Kenneth Perez and Danny Landzaat.

Its been suggested the impressive form of former Everton midfielder Thomas Gravesen has convinced Sacchi that he does not need to continually shop at the top end of the market to build a new squad for next season.
