Real Madrid GM Sacchi assures 'Pavones' after Cup exit

Real Madrid GM Arrigo Sacchi moved quickly to put a paternal arm around three of the club's brightest prospects after a difficult week.

Javi Garcia, Jurado and Arbeola all played in Real's shock Copa del Rey elimination by Real Valladolid last week and were criticised by the local press for their performances.

However, Sacchi held talks with all three youngsters after a Real 'B' training session on Saturday, with observers revealing that he said in a group session: "You must stay calm, because another opportunity will arrive. Things do not always work out and it is no-one's fault."

"You are great players and you must continue working hard as you have until now. You raise the spirit of everyone at the club."

All three youngsters were grateful to Sacchi for his gesture after a difficult few days.
