Real Madrid GM Sacchi admits spending will continue

Real Madrid haven't ruled out splashing out in the January market.
 
"It is not strictly necessary for us to make any signings," said Real Madrid sporting director Arrigo Sacchi in the club's official website.

"With the team we have, the best signing would be to believe in ourselves."

"It is another thing if something really interesting comes along and it covers our needs."

Sacchi believes that his club will continue with club president Florentino Perez's policy of buying top international stars despite the team having failed to clinch a trophy in the past two campaigns.

"This is the great Madrid," he said.

"What we need to do is to bring international stars for the spots we need to cover, this is something that we have very clear in our minds."
