Real Madrid fullback Salgado apologises to fans after Copa exit

Real Madrid fullback Michel Salgado has apologised to fans after their Copa del Rey humiliation at the hands of Real Union.

Madrid were 'beaten' at home last night, 4-3, just as they were defeated away, and Salgado said afterwards: "We apologize, there is no justifiable excuse."

"We have conceded six goals in two games and we must analyze this."

"We must be realistic and recognise that things are not going well. We must achieve something more from the football aspect."
