Real Madrid Full-Back Alvaro Arbeloa: Real Sociedad Will Be Dangerous Opposition

Real Madrid defender Alvaro Arbeloa has warned his colleagues that Real Sociedad represent a genuine threat when they arrive at the Santiago Bernabeu this weekend.

Los Blancos can ill afford another slip up, as they currently trail Barcelona in the race for the Primera Division title by seven points, and if the Blaugrana defeat Atletico Madrid on Saturday evening, it could be 10 come kick-off.

The former Liverpool full-back is aware of the importance of the fixture, but also of the talent that the Basque visitors hold in key areas of the pitch.

In an interview with Bwin.com, he claimed: "When we played them earlier in the season, it was complicated, so I know that it will be difficult at the Bernabeu. I hope that you can see many goals, but I think that it will be a difficult match."

"They have great players, especially in the wings. Xabi Prieto and [Antoine] Griezmann are both having a great campaign, and perhaps the fact that they will come here and play without any pressure. They can play the ball well, and they are proving it."
