Real Madrid Fans Want To See Ribery, Silva And Fabregas In White

As if last summer's ambitious spending spree was not enough, the Real Madrid faithful have voted that the top three signings they hope to see at the Santiago Bernabeu next season are Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery, Valencia's David Silva and Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas.

In a Marca poll, 74.5% of readers responded favourably towards the potential signing of the Frenchman, who has not played due to injury since October, 66.9% were in favour of bringing the Valencia winger to the Spanish capital, and 66.6% of fans wanted to see Fabregas in a Blancos shirt next year.

Those who were not favoured by Marca readers included Manchester United defender Nemaja Vidic (13.9%), Red Devils striker Wayne Rooney (13.95%) and Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic (7.55%). Thus, one can assume that, for the most part, Madridistas remain satisfied with Manuel Pellegrini's squad, believing only two midfielders and a winger are necessary additions to the current team.

It bears mentioning that in the same poll, 52% of the fans believed that Valencia man David Villa's opportunity to play at the Bernabeu had passed, and that Real Madrid should not attempt to secure the Spanish striker's signature next season.

Furthermore, 90% of the fans polled felt that Los Blancos should make a greater effort to bring their youth players into the squad, possibly paving the way for Alvaro Negredo, currently on loan at Sevilla, to make his return to the Spanish capital.
