Real Madrid eyeing Stuttgart No1 Hildebrand

Real Madrid are interested in Stuttgart goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand.

The 24 year-old is seen by many in Germany as Oliver Kahn's eventual successor as the country's No1 and has attracted the interest of Real directors.

Real sports chief Jorge Valdano is studying the transfer market for a new keeper, with Caesar set to leave at the end of the season for city rivals Atletico.

It's suggested that Real will take advantage of their Champions League tie with Bayern Munich to meet with Stuttgart officials while in Germany to discuss Hildebrand's availability.
