Real Madrid eye Man Utd keeper Carroll

Manchester United goalkeeper Roy Carroll is being lined up as Real Madrid's latest British recruit.

The Mirror says the Northern Ireland stopper could be set for a sensational switch to the Spanish giants in a move which would involve Madrid keeper Iker Casillas moving to Old Trafford.

Casillas' agent, Gines Carvajal, was in the Northwest last week sparking speculation of a meeting with United officials.
