Real Madrid expect Gago deal closed in days

Boca Juniors midfielder Fernando Gago is expected in Spain next week to sign forms with Real Madrid.
 
Gago and his agent, Marcelo Lombilla, will seek showdown talks with Boca president Mauricio Macri on Monday or Tuesday during which Lombilla will table Real's £11 million offer.

Already the strain is showing between Gago and Boca coach Ricardo La Volpe, who said: "I don't know where Gago's mind is. Is it focused on Sunday's game, or Real Madrid?"

The young midfielder hit back saying: "Anyone who makes a comment like that clearly does not know me. I have my mind on Sunday's game. If I must stay with Boca, I won't make trouble and if I leave, the fans will know I am not going to a second division club but one of the biggest in the world."
