Real Madrid encouraged over Fabiano ownership talks

Real Madrid are being encouraged to bid for Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano.

Fabiano's agent, Jose Fuentes, revealed this week that he's fielding offers from Italy, but there remains the stumbling over the ownership of the Brazilian's registration.

Sevilla share Fabiano's transfer rights with investment company GSI (Global Soccer Investment), which owns a 65 per cent majority.

Marca says GSI are meeting in London this weekend to discuss the prospect of buying out Sevilla's minority stake and then selling him on.

While Fuentes is discussing the player with Serie A clubs, it's been revealed Fabiano's lawyer, Breno Acosta, has been maintaining contact with Real and will be in Spain next week for further talks.
